In week 3 of term 4 our class went to Waitangi. We went there to learn about digital technologies and about the Waitangi Treaty Grounds.
First I did virtual reality. One controller had the tools and the other controller was doing the drawing. I could see the night sky and the mountains.
Next I did robots and you could control it to do what you wanted it to do. We had iPads to control them. When it crashes all you have to do is find the one that says go back.
Then we went on a tour around the treaty grounds. While we went for a walk, we learnt about the waka and we went into the museum. We only went a little bit in.
Last we went to the field. We played shark attach with the whole class. We went there for a run. We had been indoors for the whole day.
My favourite part of the trip was going for a walk.
Kia ora! I am a Year 6 student in Room 5 at Ahipara School, in the Far North of New Zealand. My teacher is Ms Peters. This is where I share my learning. Please leave a positive, thoughtful, helpful comment.
