Kia ora! I am a Year 6 student in Room 5 at Ahipara School, in the Far North of New Zealand. My teacher is Ms Peters. This is where I share my learning. Please leave a positive, thoughtful, helpful comment.
Yesterday we were lucky to have Whaea Nancy who talked to us about water safety and how to keep ourselves safe in the water. She told us to watch out for rips and check the water before jumping in.
WALA: Water safety and how to keep safe.
Reflection
I learned about water safety.
The part I liked the most was being in the circle.
Kia ora Kedjron, I like how you created a blog post about Water Safety with Whaea Nancy and how you included a title, Wala, Blurb, Reflection and Photo, tino pai. Maybe next time you could either use voice type or write your ideas down to help you complete your blog post quicker. Either of these suggestions may help you remember what happened, while it's still fresh in your memory? Kia kaha! Ma te wa, Ms Peters.
